General Function

Providing effective customer service for internal and external customers by entering footwear and apparel orders.

Primary Duties

  1. Processes and verify orders from dealers, sales representatives, and internal customers.
  2. Responsible for input of orders and /or contracts received via fax, email, or mail.
  3. Communicates with internal partners regarding status of orders, product availability, and pricing.
  4. Verifies the accuracy of information on incoming orders.
  5. Provide timely feedback to the company regarding customer complaints and/or concerns.
  6. Ability to support general product inquires.
  7. Assist Customer Service Associates with various customer support functions.
  8. Serve as “back/up” for other team members when needed in addition to current workload.
  9. Performing duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  10. Performing other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Minimum 6 months previous order/data entry experience.
  • College degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated data entry skills (10 key skills a minimum of 8,000 keystrokes per hour required).
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and website navigation.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform position responsibilities in an effective, timely, and professional manner.
  • Ability to multi-task, accurately prioritize workload and maintain a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong problem solving, organization and follow through skills.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization as well as external customers.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • High level attention to detail.
  • Maintain a very strong sense of urgency.
