The Brand Marketing Manager leads the development and execution of strategic marketing plans for major initiatives, leads strategy and execution for consumer facing experiential tour and activations, drives brand partnerships and collaborations, and leads a synergistic global go-to-market process. The oversight of these responsibilities is geared toward deepening the consumer’s awareness of and affinity for the brand and maximizing sales growth.

Primary Duties

  • Manages key milestones calendar for story development.
  • Manages the development of category story positioning; manage integrated category content, asset needs, timelines and budget parameters.
  • Manages the development of assets to internal and global marketing teams for execution in market.
  • Leads the strategy for and execution of the Chaco Fit For Adventure Tour.
  • Manages seasonal cadence and structure of regional marketing share outs.
  • Work with internal marketing teams, across digital, account and consumer and DTC to determine proper needs and execution by channel – One Brand, One Voice.
  • Develops and executes marketing programs for Brands direct to consumer (DTC) “capsule” product launches including storytelling, securing assets and collaborating with the DTC team.
  • Responsible to drive partnerships with product creation teams to drive seamless brand product and marketing strategies.
  • Uses consumer insights strategy ensuring consumer insights are imbedded cross functionally with a global view.
  • Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience.
  • Solid written communication skills and demonstrated comfort level with public speaking.
  • Solid understanding of global markets
  • Proven track record for developing and executing new initiatives.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize projects.
  • Comfortable in fast-changing, fast paced environment with tight deadlines.
