Job Description

  • Executes periodical accruals, expense projections, allocations, and journal entries with precision.
  • Conducts thorough analysis and investigation of account variances.
  • Offers strategic analysis support on projects for management, contributing to informed decision-making.
  • Assists in crafting various reports and schedules for the division, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepares financial information for specific periods as requested by management, facilitating effective financial planning.
  • Serves as a liaison with auditors at year-end, preparing schedules and annual reports with diligence.
  • Upholds the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies, performing duties in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Undertakes additional duties as required or assigned by the manager, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success:

    • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or possesses equivalent work experience.
    • Brings 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting, showcasing a solid understanding of the field.
    • Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization, fostering a collaborative environment.
    • Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills, tackling challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
    • Possesses robust written communication skills, ensuring clear and concise information sharing.
    • Gathers, monitors, analyzes, and reports financial data to divisional and corporate management teams, aiding in strategic planning and performance evaluation.

    Working Conditions

    Normal office environment.

    Wolverine Worldwide has a flexible, hybrid work schedule, with three days in office and two days remote.
