The Senior Recruiter is responsible for owning and managing the full recruiting life cycle for their assigned business areas, hiring positions up to Vice President levels within the organization.  Responsibilities will include serving as a business partner with various levels of leadership, internal stakeholders and Human Resource partners to proactively identify organization hiring needs.  Will develop and execute recruitment strategies that will attract and retain top talent.  This position may supervise additional recruiting positions.

Primary Duties

  • Establish and maintain strong relationship with hiring managers, including collaborating to understand their needs and develop a plan for successfully sourcing qualified candidates.
  • Perform full-cycle recruiting activities for assigned requisitions, including developing search strategies, sourcing and researching, assessment, coordinating interview process and supporting final selection process.
  • Manage the offer process and salary negotiations.
  • Manage candidate engagement, provide a positive candidate experience, maintain responsive communications and act as candidate advocate.
  • Create and implement employment marketing strategies to attract and engage passive candidates.
  • Create innovative sourcing strategies to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool for assigned requisitions through sourcing passive candidates, networking, complex internet searches, internal databases and employee referrals.
  • Educate managers on recruitment related concepts, systems, and process and procedures through planned training events and individual interactions.
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company.
  • Lead additional recruitment initiatives such as Employer Branding, Employee Referral Programs, Early Career and Candidate Experience as needed.
  • Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years experience working in a large corporate, retained or contingent search agency.  Experience recruiting for eCommerce and Retail preferred.
  • 2+ years experience supporting Director level and above hiring managers
  • Strong background and knowledge in all recruiting components including sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing and relationship management.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, be a strategic thinker and a self-starter.
  • Must be able to work independently and resolve complex issues using sound business judgment.
  • Strong computer skills and experience working within an applicant tracking system, such as iCIMS preferred.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as the public.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and effective presentation skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal office environment.  Some travel may be required.
