Role Responsibilities:
Research key trends, attend trade fairs and organise inspirational shopping trips at the start of each season.
Work along side design peers and Head of design, in the creation of quarterly visual concepts and colour palettes, identifying key looks and key details.
Work along side buying to identify line plan options with product specific research in order to design all technical performance and lifestyle outerwear and fleece. Continue to innovate and develop premium forward-thinking product that consistently performs well and is unarguably Sweaty Betty. Encompassing seasonal trends under the SB handwriting to answer the business strategies and targets, from initial ideas, presenting to the product team at sketch sign off through to proto sample.
Responsible for the creation of selling system tools for our WHS market. Including cad overviews, high resolution coloured cads and technical newness pages.
Responsible for the creation and delivery of all tech packs and bill of materials, uploaded to PLM and communicated to the suppliers and Sweaty Betty's global sourcing team, working closely with Garment tech and Buying to achieve the product aesthetic.
Attend all fits and communicate design intension is met in collaboration with garment tech and buying, updating overview cads accordingly.
Ensure all deadlines are met according to the go to market calendar, supporting all cross functional teams with cads and market trends.
Support all cross functional teams, presenting product design intent, education of product, and visual concepts.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years Outerwear and Flleece experience
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator.
