The Associate Demand Planner will be responsible for supporting the Demand Planning team with material level forecasting for the integrated business planning process. The Demand Planner will be required to contribute to the forecasting process, collaborating with cross-functional partners. They will support data analytics and ad hoc projects as needed.

Primary Duties:

  • Update demand planning tools to support the integrated business planning process.

  • Review product range, classifications, launch dates, product profiles to ensure seasonal line accuracy.

  • Review demand forecasts and collaborate with Sales Planning & Demand Planning to strengthen forecast accuracy.

  • Consistently monitor changes in demand signal, anticipate results of these changes, and initiate appropriate adjustments when results negatively affect plans and commitments.

  • Review historical sales data, market trends, order book analysis, and seasonality to contribute to accurately forecasted future product demand.

  • Prepare reports and data for monthly alignment meetings with sales, marketing, PLM, and finance teams to ensure reconciliation of demand plan to business needs and financial plans.

  • Perform duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.

  • Perform other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • 4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 0-2+ years’ experience in conducting demand planning, trend forecasting, statistical modeling, data analysis or business planning.

  • Strong MS Excel skills: demonstrated ability to quickly manipulate large raw data sets to produce reporting that is intuitive and easy to read/understand; advanced formulas

  • Knowledge of BI tools and Data Mining would be beneficial

  • Basic understanding and appreciation of supply chain functions, dependencies, and systems

  • Analytical with critical thinking mindset

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to quickly adapt in a highly collaborative environment and team player

Working Conditions:

Normal office environment.  Some travel may be required.

Wolverine Worldwide has a flexible, hybrid work schedule, with three days in office and two days remote.
