Associate Product Line Manager - Work Group

As the Associate Product Line Manager, you will have the opportunity to work in a hands-on product management environment supporting the Wolverine and Merrell (Work + Tactical) brands. You will be directly involved in the product creation process and line architectures servicing the global market reporting into the Senior Product Line Manager (SPLM). Additional, responsibilities for growing the brands in assigned adjacent categories through business planning, concept development, and sales analysis.

Primary Duties:

  • Use competitive data, trend and innovative ideas to contribute to assortment planning for product line(s).
  • Play a key role in the tactical day-to-day operations of the team and liaison with sales and marketing to drive category expansion through cross-functional communications and operations.
  • Assist with the development of the seasonal line architecture and seasonal briefs.
  • Develops and maintains an understanding of the global market needs.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, merchandising and development to ensure proper GTM process and product seasonal stories comes to life. 
  • Track of all seasonal samples arriving and managed to support GTM meetings and cross functional partners (merchandising + sales + marketing)
  • Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  • System and data integrity in all PLM related tools.
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 2+ years’ experience in footwear, apparel or accessories.
  • Solid product knowledge and understanding of global markets and competitors.
  • Strong business acumen, merchandising and analytical skill sets.
  • Must be able to follow-through and have strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, including the ability to manage strong and effective cross functional relationships within the organization.

Working Conditions:

In office position. Some travel may be required.

Wolverine Worldwide has a flexible, hybrid work schedule, with three days in office and two days remote.
