Accounts Payable Clerk - 12M FTC

Are you ready to step into a global business with iconic brands and bold ambitions? We’re now hiring a finance professional to join our team at our King’s Cross office in London. We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a high-performing Finance team within a fast-paced, internationally recognised business.

Primary Duties

To ensure accurate recording of Accounts Payable transactions and payment of authorised amounts in accordance with company procedures and agreed terms.

  • Process multi-language and multi-currency third-party non-stock invoices and assign them to the correct approver via Ariba

  • Handle employee expense claims in line with the company’s Travel & Entertainment policy

  • Ensure accurate coding for all Accounts Payable invoices

  • Perform a weekly aging report check

  • Carry out Bank GL clearing on a weekly basis

  • Train users and manage requisitions in Ariba (part of indirect procurement)

  • Generate SAP payment proposals for review by the AP Manager

  • Prepare manual payment requests for manager approval

  • Provide departmental cover when needed

  • Respond to internal and external client queries

  • Execute manual postings/corrections in SAP

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • 1–2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable

  • Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office preferred

  • Strong communication and analytical skills

  • Detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and highly organised

  • A hands-on mentality with a flexible, service-minded approach

  • Able to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g. German, French, Spanish) are a bonus
