As an Assistant Planner and Assistant Merchandiser, you will have a key role in helping to drive sales and profit by managing key categories within the business, with focus on optimising stock, department performance, advising on in-season trading and taking ownership of key continuity lines.What You Will Be Doing
- In season trading under the direction of Planner, focusing on weekly reporting requirements and Monday trade packs.
- Key continuity line management to ensure 100% stock availability at SKU level is maintained at all times.
- Responding to trading patterns, and highlighting risks and opportunities to the Planner.
- Intake & Stock Management support, with a focus on delivering in line with key launch plans. Working closely with the PAA on critical path management.
- Support markdown planning, creating line level forecasts and pricing suggestions. Focusing on maximizing sell thru and optimizing margin.
- Manage category WSSIs with support of Planner.
- Carry out detailed analysis of current and past performance to maximise commercial opportunities
- Support Planner on range building and option planning, considering the specific needs of varying channels and markets.
- Assisting producing weekly / seasonal Planning trade reports
- Building strong relationships with warehouse and all head office function
- Assisting the Planning team with ad-hoc analysis
