As a Colour Designer, you will develop innovative, consumer‑led colour design solutions across assigned product categories. Working closely with cross‑functional partners, you’ll help shape seasonal colour stories that are commercially relevant, brand‑right, and highly craveable for our consumers.
You’ll play a key role throughout the product lifecycle — from early concept and briefing through to sales samples — ensuring colour direction is clear, cohesive, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and deliver relevant colour, design, and market trend direction, influencing the product category from initial briefing through to final sales samples.
  • Partner closely with the Product Development and broader Brand teams to define and influence seasonal palettes, supporting multiple palette creation across categories.
  • Own and maintain seasonal colour calendars, managing timelines and key deadlines to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Update and oversee seasonal colourways and material specifications, incorporating feedback from major milestone meetings.
  • Lead category‑specific colour direction, including colour blocking strategies, merchandised packs, and cohesive seasonal colour stories.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Design, Marketing, and Development teams to deliver colour solutions that drive market success.
  • Present colour and concept‑to‑market direction internally and to key retail partners at major milestone meetings.
  • Carry out responsibilities in line with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies, and support additional tasks as required by your manager.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Art, or a related field, or an Associate’s degree from an accredited art school.
  • 4+ years’ experience in a design environment, with hands‑on expertise in colour design, palette development, and/or colour trend forecasting.
  • Strong understanding of the product design and development process.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including materials, fabrics, plastics, and colour application techniques.
  • Ability to plan and execute colour details across product lines, review samples, troubleshoot feasibility issues, and clearly communicate changes to ensure on‑time delivery.
  • Thorough understanding of art, design, graphics, and print, with strong knowledge of visual design principles including colour mixing, colour and print compatibility, and placement.
