This is a brilliant opportunity to join our dynamic EMEA retail team as a Retail Planning Assistant, supporting our fast-growing retail business across the region. You’ll play a vital role in making sure our stores are set up to succeed, with the right product in the right place at the right time.You’ll work directly with the Retail Director and collaborate closely with the Buying and Merchandising teams. Your work will help drive an exceptional customer experience and strong commercial performance across our store network.
Job Title: Retail Planning Assistant
Reporting to: Retail Director, EMEA
Location: Hybrid (London HQ & WFH)
Team Support: Junior Retail Planner & Saucony Buying and Merchandising Team
Your Responsibilities:
Stock Allocation: Ensure timely allocation of product to retail stores across EMEA, including replenishment and new season launches.
Inventory Accuracy: Maintain product and stock accuracy across multiple store locations and channels.
Product Flow Management: Monitor and improve the flow of product from warehouse to stores, flagging and resolving delays or inconsistencies.
Reporting & Analysis: Support with weekly and ad hoc reporting, including sales trends, stock cover, and store performance.
Product Data Management: Maintain product information, price updates, size ratios, and store-specific attributes in our systems.
Promotional Execution: Support planning and execution of in-store promotional activity, including price changes and markdowns.
Collaboration: Act as the key liaison between the Retail, Buying, Merchandising, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless communication and execution.
Administrative Support: Own core administrative tasks and support strategic planning cycles including lessons learned, delivery tracking, and in-season trade.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in a fast-paced retail environment (retail or head office)
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
Solid Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to learn
Confident communicator and collaborative team player
GCSE Maths grade B or above (or equivalent numeracy skills)
