Wolverine Worldwide | London, United Kingdom | Covent Garden Job ID 2025-10027

Current employees, please apply in Workday.

Wolverine Worldwide is a global marketer of branded footwear, apparel, and accessories. With an established global footprint that spans approximately 200 countries and territories, as well as a rock-solid infrastructure, Wolverine Worldwide is dedicated to advancing the following brands that comprise the ever expanding portfolio: Bates, Chaco, Cat Footwear, Harley Davidson Footwear, Merrell, Saucony, Sweaty Betty and Wolverine. Wolverine World wide's continued success is driven by our ability to stay true to our simple mission: we empower, engage and inspire our consumers – every step of the way.

Our team members are the beating heart of all our stores across the world, bringing their contagious passion to work every day, and going above and beyond to ensure an amazing experience for every customer they meet. From the moment they enter the store to when they leave, you will be responsible for making sure our customers have an exceptional experience. Whether that’s helping them pick a new pair of shoes, or helping them style an outfit, your core responsibility is to ensure our consumers enjoy their time with us in store.

At Saucony Covent Garden, we believe every runner’s journey starts the moment they enter the store. Behind the scenes, the stock room is the engine room that powers that journey — fast-paced, well-organised, and seamless. We’re looking for a Full-Time Supervisor to take ownership of our back of house (BOH) operation and ensure it's running as smoothly as the shoes we sell.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in structure, lives for the details, and takes pride in creating a space that functions flawlessly. You'll lead BOH operations, support the store leadership on the floor, and help your teammates deliver a standout guest experience, every time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the back of house — including stockroom organisation, delivery processing, inventory control, and replenishment systems.
  • Take the lead on receiving goods in: unpacking deliveries with care, checking against delivery notes, flagging discrepancies, and ensuring all product is processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Process new stock promptly and with precision — ensuring it’s tagged, sized, and stored or moved to the shop floor in line with floorplans and visual merchandising priorities.
  • Work closely with the Saucony planning and allocation teams to ensure the timely and accurate flow of stockinto and out of the store — including transfers, recalls, and returns.
  • Ensure the stock room is guest-ready at all times — clean, logical, and easy to navigate, even if a guest were to walk in.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager and Floor Supervisor to ensure product flows seamlessly from the stockroom to the shop floor.
  • Lead by example on the floor when required — supporting busy trading hours, coaching team members, and responding to guest needs.
  • Take responsibility for housekeeping standards in both front and back of house, with an obsession for presentation, systems, and order.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to drive product availability, minimise stock loss, and maintain a smooth operation day-to-day.
  • Support the store team in visual merchandising, launches, markdowns, and peak periods.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a retail stockroom, operations, or supervisor role.
  • Strong organisational skills with a genuine passion for systems, structure, and detail.
  • A proactive and “house proud” mindset — you care deeply about how the space looks and functions.
  • Ability to work quickly and calmly under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • A natural problem-solver who loves being one step ahead of the day’s needs.
  • Confidence to take the lead when needed and a team-first attitude when working alongside others.
  • Someone who understands that the stockroom powers the store — and wants to make that engine run beautifully.

What You'll Get

  • A chance to grow with a brand rooted in community, performance, and purpose.
  • The opportunity to be part of an energetic, supportive, and growing team in one of Saucony’s flagship stores.
  • Ongoing development and training in both operational excellence and leadership.

The Extras

  • Generous clothing allowance

  • Excellent training & development opportunities

  • Quarterly bonuses

  • 60% off all Sweaty Betty merchandise

  • 25 days holiday (pro-rated if working part-time)

  • Refer a Friend bonus scheme

  • Season Ticket Loan

  • Access to Retail Trust - advice & support tool

  • Dedicated budget to attend fitness classes (per store)

  • Access to Sample sales

  • Health Cash Plan benefit with Medicash available to all Sweaty Betty UK Employees (Following successfully passing probation)

  • Enhanced Family Leave policy

  • Cycle to work & Buzz bike scheme
