The Consumer Futures and Trend team at Wolverine Worldwide is responsible for tracking and deciphering consumer and fashion trends for the organization. We work closely with our portfolio of brands to understand their strategies and provide our informed input. A trend internship at Wolverine Worldwide is an experience that will help prepare you for a career after graduation. You’ll learn from some of the best talent in the industry while sharing your own insights and ideas – with exposure to a variety of functions across all brand teams. This is an opportunity to learn about the industry and build the necessary skills to anticipate shifts within itPrimary Duties:
- Support the FUTURES team with multiple projects, e.g. consumer macrotrend deep dives, fashion trend deep dives, brand specific research projects, monthly trending topics newsletters.
- Participate in team/brand strategy meetings focused on upcoming product/marketing stories
- Perform duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
- Perform other duties as required/assigned by manager.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Must be enrolled in a Bachelors program in a relevant field (ex. Fashion Design, Fashion Journalism, Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Anthropology,
- Junior or senior undergraduate status
- Proven leadership in and out of the classroom
- Deep curiosity for understanding consumer behavior and identifying macrotrends – asks why
- Interest/passion for the fashion/footwear industry
- Ability to learn quickly and jump in
- Comfortable presenting (or eager to learn)
- Strong project management and organizational skills
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment, minimum of 3 days in office required
