This role is responsible for delivering project portfolio management, communication, and financial monitoring necessary to deliver digital experience and technical capabilities.   This role leads and coaches a high performing team of Project Managers to partner with D&TE and business leaders, to drive a consistent process for the prioritizing of demand, funding of initiatives, ensuring resource capacity and availability and managing interdependencies between the programs and portfolios that support the enterprise strategy and goals.  

Critical to success, this Director must demonstrate a critical blend of both strong strategic management and cross-functional leadership capabilities and a strong track record of successful execution of complex enterprise IT initiatives. The ability to influence, advise and manage many cross-functional players across levels is critical. Further the individual must be results-oriented with a bias for action. The leader should be comfortable with ambiguity, leading the team in structure problems and charting a clear path forward.  

Primary Duties:

  • Drive coordinated execution of the most critical enterprise D&TE initiatives to build new capabilities to lead WWW forward

  • Lead and coach a high performing team of Project Managers 

  • Manage and support periodic updates with D&TE and senior leadership team

  • Oversees and champions activities to manage the entire lifecycle of complex programs from project initiation to project close, ensuring the delivery of quality solutions that meet the constraints of time, cost and scope

  • Defines and agrees to technical and business program objectives with business area leaders, and oversees the selection, planning and management of all related project activities

  • Build the organization's knowledge and ability to work in Agile methodologies as needed across the existing portfolio and expand over time

  • Identify and manage critical interdependencies, determine, monitor, elevate and help to mitigate areas of risk

  • Supports the IT intake and demand management function, and assists the business in navigating the process through effective project definition, refinement and initiation

  • Responsible for the understanding and coordination of D&TE OpEx and CapExfinancial managementin partnership with Finance 

  • Coaches team members to further strengthen these cross functional relationships and to share ownership and accountability for the business results of technology related projects

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be able to coordinate roadmaps and execute transformational change

  • Strong knowledge of system and software SDLC, PMO and leading practices and methodologies

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and apply frameworks to drive alignment and decision-making

  • Exceptional communication skills, including ability to share ideas and information across diverse audiences to drive business decisions

  • Ability to synthesize clearly and simplify the complex

  • Highly collaborative with track record of effective cross-functional leadership and proven ability to influence at all levels, from working teams to senior leadership

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and make ongoing decisions with key stakeholder input

  • 10+ Years of Project Management experience and leadership

Working Conditions:

Normal office environment.
