Job ID 2025-11078

Current employees, please apply in Workday.

Wolverine Worldwide is undergoing a digital transformation across our global eCommerce and retail store ecosystem. As we modernize our platforms and introduce new technologies, we’re looking to hire our first DTC Technical Trainer—a strategic role focused on enabling our brand teams and internal stakeholders to fully leverage these tools through standardized training, documentation, and best practices.

This is a high-impact, strategic role focused on empowering our global brand and business teams with the knowledge and confidence to fully utilize our digital tools. You’ll create and deliver engaging, easy-to-follow training programs to support both existing platforms—like Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Order Management (SOM), and Service Cloud—and newly launched tools, including our Product Information Management (PIM) system.

This role will also serve as a delivery partner to the Product team, supporting the rollout of new features and functionality. By collaborating closely with Product Managers, this individual will help ensure the proper training and KPIs are in place to support adoption and measure the success of new tools and enhancements.

The ideal candidate is a technical training pro with a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and a knack for making complex systems simple. If you’re excited about enabling people, standardizing processes, and driving platform adoption, this is the role for you.

Primary Duties:

  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs for internal users across digital platforms, with a focus on SFCC, SOM, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Akeneo, all integrated systems, and retail store systems.

  • Leverage Workday LMS to manage and deliver training content and track learner progress.

  • Act as a delivery partner for the Product team, helping to translate new features and functionality into user-friendly training materials and adoption strategies.

  • Collaborate with Product Managers to define KPIs for training and tool adoption, and track success post-launch.

  • Partner with platform owners, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to understand system functionality and business processes.

  • Translate technical features and workflows into clear, role-specific training for site merchandisers, marketers, content managers, and other stakeholders.

  • Define and teach best practices across brand teams to improve consistency in site merchandising, product setup, SEO, search rules, and more.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive training resources including how-to guides, job aids, onboarding materials, and eLearning modules.

  • Establish a scalable and repeatable framework for global training and enablement.

  • Champion a culture of learning and continuous improvement across all teams.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve training effectiveness based on stakeholder feedback and performance metrics.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • 3–5 years of experience in technical training, instructional design, or enablement—ideally within digital commerce, SaaS, or an enterprise tech environment.

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering technical training that translates complex systems and processes into clear, accessible learning experiences across multiple formats—including live instruction, video modules, and written documentation.

  • Strong delivery and facilitation skills for training diverse employee groups across ecommerce and retail environments.

  • Experience partnering with Product teams to support the successful rollout of tools or features, including tracking KPIs and adoption metrics.

  • Expertise in project management, effectively prioritizing and executing against multiple goals under tight deadlines.

  • Highly collaborative mindset with the ability to work across functions, regions, and time zones.

  • Experience with Workday LMS is required, including implementation and content delivery.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and related platforms (SOM, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud). Experience with Akeneo PIM and CMS tools is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams

  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and passionate about empowering others through education.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to develop and deliver tailored messages and communications to relevant stakeholders.
