The Senior Finance Manager coordinates, develops. communicates and reviews Work Group Direct to Consumer and Work Group financials including: planning, forecasting, financial analytics, balance sheet management and PnL ownership. Analyzes financial results and provides the financial story of the business performance, strategies, risks and opportunities.

Primary Duties:

  • Provides financial direction, guidance and strategy for the Division(s) or Group performance including business planning, capital planning, and forecasting, pricing and operational reviews.

  • Responsible for the overall review and communication of the financial condition, operating results of each division and performance metrics including brand P&Ls on a period, quarterly and annual basis.

  • Directs the preparation of the annual budget, financial forecasting and other supporting analysis.

  • Approves pricing of the product lines and go-to-market support, selling programs, overall terms and conditions and major closeout deals.

  • Collaborate with brand leadership on department budgets to develop detail cost center plans.

  • Work with VP of Direct to Consumer, Sales Planning and VP of Sales on revenue assumptions and gross margin expectations.

  • Works with Demand Planning on sales and operations planning to improve timely delivery of goods, understanding for factory capacity and delays, and knowledge of product and logistical costing trends.

  • Provide insights on the brand with focus on business trends (current order/shipments and order backlog position) on an appropriate cadence with goal of highlighting deviations for plan, insight to product category performance, key customer performance

  • Manages the financial matters related to the Division’s licensed brand agreements

  • Directs the activities of professional and support staff to ensure accounting controls and systems are in place to address accuracy, reliability, completeness and proper recording of financial data in accordance with GAAP and other corporate policies.

  • Performing duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.

  • Performing other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.

  • 10+ years’ experience in finance or related field.

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees.

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Able to develop and communicate the Financial story to all audiences

  • Proficient with personal computers.

  • Ability to meet deadlines

Working Conditions:

Normal office environment.

Wolverine Worldwide has a flexible, hybrid work schedule, with three days in office and two days remote.
