Public Relations Specialist - Saucony

The Public Relations Specialist supports the development and execution of public relations marketing efforts for the Saucony brand including social media channels, programs, and messages.
Primary Duties:
Support to execute PR strategies that support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand initiatives across running, lifestyle, and fashion
Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, editors, journalists, bloggers, and influencers in the fashion, lifestyle, running, fitness, and outdoor sectors
Manage end-to-end product launch communications including coordinating product reviews, executing strategic seeding programs, and continuously identifying and cultivating new media and influencer contacts across running, lifestyle, and fashion verticals
Write and distribute press releases, pitch stories, coordinate media interviews, and manage press inquiries
Draft press releases and core messaging materials for inclusion in global PR toolkits to support international markets
Assist in planning and execution of media events, product seeding programs, press previews, and experiential activations
Own all PR reporting including weekly, monthly, and global reports that track media coverage, share of voice, sentiment, and competitive landscape
Monitor industry trends and media landscape across running, fashion, and lifestyle sectors, providing strategic analysis and actionable recommendations to inform future PR initiatives and brand positioning
Collaborate with marketing, product, and social teams to ensure aligned messaging and integrated campaigns
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
3-5 years of PR or communications experience, preferably with consumer brands
Strong media relationships spanning running, fitness, fashion, and lifestyle media landscape
Strategic mindset with proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail
Ability to translate product features and brand values into compelling narratives for diverse audiences across performance and lifestyle
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and comfort managing regular reporting cadences and deliverables
Passion for wellness, fashion, and pop culture (bonus if you're a runner yourself!)
Proficiency with media monitoring tools
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment. Some travel may be required.
