As the Senior Product Line Manager, you will be responsible for leading, shaping and overseeing the product creation process. You will set product strategy in alignment with the brand vision and market trends, for the assigned category or categories, working closely with cross functional partners across Design, Development, Planning, Merchandising and Sales. You will ensure the integrity of concept and execution of product strategy from briefing to commercialization through consumer-centric product and stories. This position will guide the product creation process from vision to strategy and execution. Additionally, this role will oversee two direct reports.

Primary Duties:

  • Create and drive product vision, contributing to strategic direction and leading product creation process.

  • Develop and execute product line strategies, including identifying target consumers, market trends, and defining product positioning.

  • Manages future product vision through 5year product innovation roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional partners.

  • Monitor product performance, analyze sales data, and identify areas of improvement.

  • Present line concepts, product and strategic vision to management, retailers, sales associates and peers at a wide range of formal and informal meetings.

  • Create, manage and evolve the line architecture to match business growth goals and objectives. Work closely with other PLMs, to assure harmony of the product lines.

  • Use global insights to create product to strategically open new categories, markets and opportunities.

  • Recognizes category’s whitespace opportunities and discusses with brand leadership.

  • Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.

  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

  • 7+ years’ experience in footwear, apparel or accessories.

  • Proven leadership skills with at least 2 years’ experience in leading or influencing a team.

  • Proven working knowledge of footwear industry, including technology and product development, materials, trends and the overall marketplace.

  • Strong product knowledge and understanding of global markets and competitors.

  • Strong business acumen, merchandising and analytical skill sets.

  • Exceptional follow-through skills and attention to detail.

  • Solid communication skills are required, including the ability to manage strong and effective cross functional relationships within the organization.

Working Conditions:

In office position. Some travel may be required.

Wolverine Worldwide has a flexible, hybrid work schedule, with three days in office and two days remote.
