Working alongside the design team to drive the brand in a conceptual way, to ensure we continue to maintain our position in the marketplace, as a pioneering international women’s active wear brand in an ever-competitive landscape. Present quarterly visual concepts with a focus on key looks, colour and print, to the wider teams.The job:
- Research and source new innovative fabrics in line with the visual concepts, travelling to trade fairs in collaboration with the raw materials manager.
- Research, Travel and design all lifestyle casual wovens and soft separates. Continue to innovate and develop premium forward-thinking product that consistently performs well and is unarguably Sweaty Betty. Encompassing seasonal trends under the SB handwriting to answer the business strategies and targets, from initial ideas through to proto sample.
- Responsible for the creation and delivery of all tech packs and bill of materials, uploaded to PLM and communicated to the suppliers, working closely with Garment tech and Buying to achieve the product aesthetic.
- Attend all fits and communicate design intension is met in collaboration with garment tech and buying.
- Ensure all deadlines are met according to the go to market calendar, supporting all cross functional teams with cads and market trends.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years Lifestyle Casual wovens and Soft separates experience
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator.
- An Understanding of a PLM system
- Line management experience
