We are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, service oriented and likes to have fun while they work. Someone that will support the team to work in alignment with our values and act as the go-to person in the absence of the Store Manager. You are a role model for the team and, cool, calm and collected under pressure. Never afraid to step in, you make it your priority to be a fountain of knowledge on product and standards. Responsible to your core, you can be relied upon to assist with administrative and operational duties and general store security.

As a Supervisor at Saucony’s Covent Garden store, you will play a key leadership role, bridging the gap between Sales Assistants and the Assistant Store Manager. You will support daily store operations, lead by example in delivering an outstanding guest experience, and take ownership of visual merchandising to ensure the store represents the Saucony brand at its best. This role is perfect for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for retail, running, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead & Support the Sales Team
    • Act as a role model for Sales Assistants, demonstrating best practices in guest engagement, sales techniques, and brand storytelling.
    • Support the Assistant Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth store performance.
    • Provide coaching and real-time feedback to help team members improve their skills and confidence.
  • Take Ownership of Visual Merchandising
    • Ensure the store consistently delivers an engaging and visually appealing shopping experience.
    • Implement visual merchandising guidelines, maintaining high presentation standards across all displays.
    • Regularly update window displays and key merchandising areas to highlight seasonal launches, promotions, and bestsellers.
  • Deliver an Exceptional Guest Experience
    • Lead by example in delivering personalized, engaging, and knowledgeable guest service.
    • Assist guests in finding the perfect products based on their needs, ensuring a seamless shopping journey.
    • Inspire the team to build meaningful guest relationships and drive brand loyalty.
  • Support Sales & Performance Goals
    • Drive sales by leading with a guest-first mindset and fostering a high-energy, results-driven environment.
    • Monitor key store performance indicators (conversion rates, average transaction value, footfall) and support initiatives to optimize performance.
    • Encourage team members to proactively engage guests and increase basket size through cross-selling and upselling.
  • Ensure Visual & Brand Storytelling Excellence
    • Maintain strong visual brand alignment by ensuring products are displayed according to Saucony’s visual guidelines.
    • Regularly refresh floor layouts to optimize guest flow and showcase hero products.
    • Provide feedback to the Assistant Manager and HQ team regarding visual merchandising opportunities and improvements.
  • Community Engagement & Event Execution
    • Assist with in-store events, workshops, and run clubs to drive community engagement and store footfall.
    • Ensure visual merchandising aligns with local activations and community-building efforts.
    • Collaborate with local running groups and influencers to enhance store visibility.
  • Oversee Stock Management & Floor Readiness
    • Work closely with the management team to ensure stock is replenished and displayed effectively.
    • Conduct regular visual merchandising audits to maintain product availability and presentation.
    • Support loss prevention initiatives and stockroom organization.
  • Support Digital & Omnichannel Integration
    • Educate guests on online ordering, Saucony’s e-commerce offerings, and digital product information tools.
    • Ensure digital signage and interactive features within the store are visually optimized and fully functional.

    • Educate guests about loyalty programs, special events, and exclusive offers.
    • Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and word-of-mouth recommendations.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence
    • Support the Assistant Manager in executing daily store operations efficiently.
    • Assist in managing cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and compliance with store policies.
    • Uphold health, safety, and security standards to ensure a safe store environment.
  • Champion Sustainability & Innovation
    • Ensure sustainable products and initiatives are highlighted in visual merchandising displays.
    • Educate guests on Saucony’s commitment to responsible sourcing and eco-friendly materials.
    • Maintain visual displays that reflect Saucony’s innovation in performance footwear and apparel.
  • Be a Key Decision-Maker in the Absence of the Manager
    • Step into a leadership role when the Assistant Manager is not present.
