The Supply Planning Manager is a key leader within the Supply Chain team, responsible for driving end-to-end supply planning strategies that ensure optimal product availability, factory efficiency, and alignment with commercial goals. This role partners cross-functionally with Inventory Planning, Sourcing, Logistics, and Product teams to deliver timely, cost-effective, and customer-focused supply solutions across global markets.
Primary Duties:
Integrated Supply Planning: Lead the development and execution of integrated supply plans across brands and regions, aligning factory capacity with inventory needs and sales forecasts.
SKU-Level Optimization: Evaluate supply-demand alignment at the SKU level, adjusting production orders to optimize inventory flow and improve order fulfillment performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate monthly supply planning meetings and collaborate with Inventory Planning, Sourcing, and Operations to ensure synchronized planning and execution. Communication and alignment of Calendar.
Capacity & Procurement Management: Administer factory capacity allocation and procurement timelines, ensuring adherence to production schedules and responsiveness to market demand.
New Product Launches: Lead supply-side planning for new product introductions, coordinating with Product, Sales, and Sourcing teams to ensure timely availability and launch readiness.
Material & Lead Time Management: Partner with sourcing and materials teams to streamline raw material availability and reduce manufacturing lead times.
Global PO Oversight: Monitor global purchase order confirmations and resolve issues in collaboration with international teams, logistics, and inventory planning.
Data & Reporting: Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights, automated reporting tools, and performance dashboards that highlight risks and opportunities.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply planning team, fostering a culture of accountability, agility, and innovation.
Compliance & Other Duties: Ensure compliance with company AAP/EEO policies and perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
5+ years of experience in supply planning, preferably in the footwear, apparel, or consumer goods industry.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Anaplan) and Excel.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex global supply chains.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience with integrated business planning (IBP) processes is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment. Up to 20% travel required.
Wolverine Worldwide has a flexible, hybrid work schedule, with three days in office and two days remote.
