The Vice President of Finance is a strategic leader responsible for driving enterprise wide financial planning, forecasting, and analytics. This role partners closely with the CEO, CFO, SVP of Finance and other senior leaders to deliver critical insights that inform strategic decision-making and enable operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a data-driven, collaborative leader with deep expertise in financial modeling, analytics, and cross-functional alignment.
Primary Duties:
Provide leadership and support for the preparation of the strategic plan, annual operating plan, quarterly forecast
Provide performance analysis and strategic insights to the SVP of Finance, CFO, CEO, and executive leadership
Support and lead business case development and ROI analysis for strategic investments across the organization, partnering with cross-functional teams to evaluate financial viability, quantify expected returns, and ensure alignment with long-term business objectives
Prepare financial update presentations and supporting materials for meetings with the Board of Directors, executive leadership, and other key stakeholders.
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and strategic alignment in all financial communications delivered to senior audiences.
Collaborate with Investor Relations, Corporate Strategy, and Communications teams to align messaging and presentation standards.
Develop and maintain complex financial models for capital allocation and scenario planning
Analyze business performance, trends, and KPI to inform decision-making
Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual cash flow forecasts, enhancing transparency, efficiency, and accuracy across the enterprise.
Champion global finance transformation initiatives, emphasizing technology enablement and building future-ready capabilities that enhance agility, scalability, and insight generation
Implement tools and dashboards to streamline data collection, automate reporting, and enable real-time visibility into performance
Leverage automation and advanced analytics to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency
Attract, develop, and retain top-tier financial talent
Build capabilities in financial planning, analysis, and strategic support
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA or CFA preferred
12+ years of experience in Corporate Finance or FP&A, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role
Proven success in enterprise-wide planning, forecasting, and analysis
Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, and executive reporting
Ability to translate financial data into strategic insights for executive decision-making.
Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams
Agile and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset
Experience in board-level reporting, investor relations support, and M&A evaluation.
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment. Some travel may be required.
Wolverine Worldwide has a flexible, hybrid work schedule, with three days in office and two days remote.
