Our distribution team works in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and are responsible for performing an array of duties including, but not limited to, receiving and processing incoming product, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, inspecting product for defects, and assisting leadership in continuously improving methods in all processing areas and functions. Desired skills include the ability to work quickly and efficiently, use proper lifting techniques (lifting up to 50 lbs.), work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment, and work a flexible schedule as required based on business needs.

The Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Operator is responsible for operating various types of powered industrial equipment to move, locate, relocate, and stack cases. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle at all times.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Operates various forms of powered industrial equipment in and around the Distribution Center
  • Loads, unloads, moves, stacks, and stages product and materials using powered industrial equipment
  • Uses radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving and put-away
  • Maintains the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
  • Inspects the powered industrial equipment daily; reports any issues
  • Loads and unloads shipments, pallets, and product
  • Places product on the racking systems
  • Scans, documents, and pulls the correct quantity for each order
  • Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
  • Consistently meets established company standards of safety, security, and productivity
  • Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned

$20.35
