The Sr. Director of Finance provides leadership, direction and coordination of company financial planning and analysis process.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Oversee and manage the preparation of the annual plan, quarterly forecast, and long-range financial plan
  • Manage the preparation of quarterly and annual cash flow forecasts, assessments that provide optimal outcome scenarios, and development of actions to achieve optimal outcome
  • Drive rigor around financial analyses that highlights challenges and opportunities with overarching goal of contributing to sound decision-making across the Company
  • Prepare financial presentations and supporting materials for meetings with the Board of Directors, Banks, and internal management team
  • Manage the tracking and reporting of actual and projected revenue and earnings performance relative to forecast targets to increase visibility on progress in achieving short-term goals across the Company
  • Assist in the preparation of deliverables for the quarterly earnings process including financial guidance, press releases, transcripts, and potential Q&A for the public earnings call
  • Performs ad hoc analyses to support decision making around strategic investments, capital investments, and M&A activity
  • Provide leadership and guidance for FP&A team including talent development, recruitment, career pathing, and performance management, to achieve organization objectives.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business with strong Financial Analytical and Accounting experience (preferred).
  • Minimum (8) years’ experience in a mid to senior level finance position, with specific experience in global public companies (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Expert computer knowledge including financial systems and database applications such as Excel, Access, SQL, PowerPoint, and other financial systems.
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  • Strong knowledge of short- and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.
  • Solid critical thinking and decision-making skills with the ability to analyze and perform root cause analysis on business trends and provide senior leaders with a grounded view of current business trends.
  • Effectively leads high-performing teams to work cross-functionally at various levels throughout the organization to drive meaningful change in the business.
